Âhâsis

Âhâsis: baby crow

If you're from so-called Vancouver you know about the crows. They are the tricksters like the little siblings to the raven. They offer us knowledge and wit as helpers.

The intricate beadwork is created using traditional beading techniques and high-quality materials, including Delica beads that are renowned for their consistency and precision. The colours and patterns are carefully chosen to reflect the unique beauty and symbolism of the Crow, with bold black and vibrant pops of colour.

The fringe detailing adds a touch of movement and texture to the earring, catching the eye and drawing attention to the intricate beadwork. The earring is hung on a sturdy hook, ensuring that it is secure and comfortable to wear.

Each earring is made to order—the processing time to make the item is 5-15 business days. Please note that due to the nature of beadwork, there may be slight variations in the final product.

As an Indigenous product, these earrings pay homage to the rich cultural heritage of my own relations. Each pair of earrings is carefully crafted by me using both contemporary and traditional techniques, creating a unique piece of wearable art that is both beautiful and meaningful.
